Lectures, demonstrations and workshops at Wrexham Science Festival

Wrexham Science Festival 2009 featured an eight-day programme of public lectures and presentations delving into the science of streetlights, sea levels, lasers and much more.

Lectures ranged from interactive demonstrations such as ‘The Magic of Science' to talks about colour holography and animal welfare.

The Festival was launched by TV celebrity Philippa Forrester, and also featured a series of astronomy-themed events to mark 2009 being the International Year of Astronomy.

We are always open to new ideas and new speakers, if you would like to hold either a public lecture, demonstration or a workshop, please let us know, and we will send you further details.

If you want to chat to someone about your ideas please contact the organisers on 01978 293466 or email wsf@glyndwr.ac.uk
